FoAPS Fund-Raising

Match Funding

Match giving, or match funding, is a simple way to maximise the fundraising efforts of individual PTA volunteers.  Usually, a company pledges to match a sum of money relating to the amount the employee has either raised or donated to a charity.

Generally speaking, banks and building societies, insurance companies, supermarkets, utilities providers, phone companies and car manufacturers are known to offer match-funding schemes.

So please consider helping us out at our events if your employer offers this scheme, you don't need to be a committee member, you can just be an event helper (eg running a stall at a fair and whatever that stall makes, you should be able to get match funded.)

Amazon Smile
If you shop through Amazon, you can choose FoAPS as your designated charity –the products don’t cost you anymore but Amazon will donate a percentage of the cost of the order directly to us. You firstly need to register on Amazon Smile and select us as the charity to support (Friends of Ashdown Primary School), then in the app click on the main menu (?) then click on ‘AmazonSmile’ to turn this feature on. If you shop via the website then you would simply shop via smile.amazon.co.uk and the same donation will occur.

You can also support Ashdown Primary School just by shopping online.

Every time you shop online via easyfundraising at one of the 3,300 retailers including John Lewis, Aviva, Sainsbury’s and Booking.com, a donation will be made to Friends of Ashdown Primary School, and it won’t cost you a penny extra.
It’s really simple to get started;

Clothes Recycling

There is a clothing bank at the infant site for your old clothes (rather than doing the bags2school).  This can be used by both Infant and Junior parents.

We are hoping to get another one on the Junior site in the near future.
Thank you for your support.
